Hardscape Services
Your hardscape refers to everything in your landscape that is not living. This includes: patios, decks, pergolas, arbors, stonework and similar types of features. Hardscape services are our specialty.
The hardscape is usually the main focal point of any landscape design and all other plan details should complement these structures. The corresponding landscaping should soften the feel of your hardscape. If you have too little plant material to offset the space then you could get overwhelmed by the area. The most spectacular landscapes have a nice balance between the two.
From an investment perspective, you tend to see the most return on your dollars when adding hardscape features, with a few exceptions. How much of a return you actually get is a widely debated figure and depends on the addition you do. If you spend the money on quality materials and great workmanship, it's not uncommon to get back 100% plus return on the addition. Adding patios, decks and especially outdoor kitchens can really set your property apart from the rest.
The exception to the rule is water features. While most people love them, some people look at them as potential safety hazards. Water features have a similar dilemma to pools in this respect. If you are worried about safety issues with a water feature, but really like them, we recommend going with a pond less type of system. This eliminates the safety hazard and still adds to the overall aesthetics of your landscape.
